The 13A’s made the short journey to Ballinalea Park this morning to take on local neighbours Ashford Rovers. Just like a normal local derby this proved to be a tight tense affair with both sets of players giving a hundred percent. It was the Rovers of Ashford who came out on top winning by the narrowest of margins on a scoreline of 2-1. Shane O'Reilly was the Wicklow goalscorer when he fired home a free kick from outside the area. The lads could have took something from the game with a bit of luck.
