Our under 15's welcomed Avonmore B to Whitegates for an early kick off this morning. The lads were at it from the first whistle. The game was only two minutes in when Evan Conyard opened the scoring with a sweet strike from the right wing. Five minutes later Rovers were two up when Brandon Battams scored when put through with a nice ball from Jack Macklin. Charlie Czwalina was next in on the act when he converted a penalty and scored again minutes later after a mix up in the Avonmore defence. Evan Conyard and Brandon Battams would score another goal a piece before Avonmore scored a superb effort themselves to leave the score 6-1 at the break. The second half saw more pressure on the Avonmore defence and Brandon Battams added another two to bring his tally to four and complete his hat-trick before Czwalina scored his third for his hat trick. Alex Earls got in on the act to complete the scoring and make it four wins from four. Super performances all over the pitch but stand out performers on the day were Jack Macklin in midfield, Tom Donoghue on the right and Alex Earls in defence.
