Wicklow Rovers U14C fought back from a 3-1 deficit to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw against St Anthony's B in their U14 Division 1 match. The game was a closely contested affair, with both teams creating chances and showcasing their skills.

St Anthony's took the lead when Daniel Brennan inadvertently scored an own goal, and they doubled their advantage with a contentious goal. However, Rovers refused to give up, and Matthew Costello's beautiful finish brought them back into the game.

Despite creating several good chances, Rovers were made to pay for their missed opportunities when St Anthony's scored their third goal just before halftime. However, the Rovers team showed great resilience and determination, and Costello's second goal in the second half gave them hope.

The equalizer came in dramatic fashion when Jamie McGowan fired a stunning shot from 30 yards into the top corner, leaving the St Anthony's keeper with no chance. Although Rovers had opportunities to win the game at the death, they couldn't capitalize on them, resulting in a 3-3 draw.

This was an excellent match, with both teams displaying great skill and sportsmanship. Notable performances for Rovers came from captain Kai Jameson, Jamie McGowan, and Cayden O'Malley. Thanks to St Anthony's for a great competitive game.
